Proud podcast moment: The Passion Stories has reached 30 episodes ✨

The Passion Stories podcast started as an idea a few years ago - a podcast which inspires, challenges, revels in variety, and showcases what I think is one of the greatest elements of human spirit – passion.

Reaching episode 30 feels like a huge accomplishment, the market is incredibly saturated, and I’ll never forget a stat I was told when I first started “most podcasts don’t get past 10 episodes”.

From the early days of persuading people to come on and nights spent on YouTube learning how to use Audacity, to bringing on a brilliant producer Colm Drennan, and getting people requesting to come on the pod, what a journey.

Running your own podcast is hard, there are so many challenges, from no shows to meticulous planning, guest searching, research, and finding a sponsor (👀could it be you?), it takes relentless effort to consistently put out an episode every two weeks, and for what? The simple joy of sharing people’s passion.

It’s so worth it. Listenership has rocketed to +3.5k and social viewership is at +45k just in the last month.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, listened to and shared the podcast so far and to all the brilliant guests, we are just getting started. Here’s to hitting 30 episodes and I cannot wait to bring you so much more.

Here are some of my favourite episodes if you haven’t listened to them already:

🌎 From adventure to impact investing with Mark Beaumont
🚣‍♀️ Rowing solo across the Atlantic Ocean with Zara Lachlan
🏕️ Living adventurously with Alastair Humphreys
💪 From Death Valley to Denali with Oli France
🎨 Painting and inspiration with Lara Robinson
